If you are certain that you have copied your index.html, resume.html, and any other files to the H:\public_html folder, but you are still unable to view your files on your web page, then these instructions from Petra may help you.... --------- Not able to see your webpage using http://www.cdf.utoronto.ca/~h104xxxx ? Here's the solution that works (but nobody knows why!) Just copy your files to the desktop, delete the old copies, and copy them back. Here is a step-by-step: 1. Open your public_html directory so you can see the files in it. 2. Back up all your html files to a diskette and remove the diskette from the computer. 3. Select all the files and drag them onto the desktop (or copy them one by one, but do get them all!) 4. Delete the old copies in your public_html directory by selecting them and then hitting the "delete" key. Your public_html directory should be empty when you are done! 5. Select and drag (or copy individually) the files from your desktop back to your public_html directory. 6. Close your public_html directory. Select and then delete the copies cluttering up your desktop. Voila! (In theory.)
