CSC104 Marks

Your tentative final grades are now available. These marks are not official until they have been approved by the Faculty of Arts and Science. The Faculty rarely requires us to change our marks, but it could happen. The formal final grades will be available from the Student Telephone System (or ROSI) when the Faculty has accepted them.

You will notice that the final grade shown is somewhat higher than you would calculate, because of tutorial adjustments and course-wide adjustments. Your final mark is shown under the Fadj heading. We have added 6 percent to everyone's final mark. You'll be happy to hear that because of the low average on the final exam, I have decided to waive the requirement that you need 40% on the final exam in order to pass this course.

You can pick up all of your unclaimed assignments from the CSSU office.

All A1, A2, A3, A4, and midterm marks are available from the above link. The MTAj mark is your adjusted midterm mark after adding 6% to bring up the average.

You'll notice that the assignment mark (Asst) out of 35 and the term mark (Term) out of 55 are now available on the marks web page. I have considered the average assignment mark for each of the tutorial sections, and as a result and have determined the tutorials adjustments. I have increased the assignment mark for all students in Fred's section by 0.4 mark and for all students in Petra's section by 1.2 marks. No changes were made to the assignment marks for Biljana and Sid's section because the averages were already higher.
