Newtonbrook Women's Hockey Club (NWHC)

NWHC has women's teams for recreational and competitive play.

There are 8 Senior Rec teams which play on Sunday nights from 5:30-8:30 pm. Games take place from October 18th through until the end of March. All games are held at the Ice Gardens at York University. NWHC also runs a hockey school on Saturday.

NWHC has 4 competitive teams, all called the Newtonbrook Panthers, at the Senior AA, A, B, and C levels. We had an AAA team during the 1996-97 season, but will not be having one this season.

  • "C" Coach - Dennis Lamarre

    We still have openings on our Senior "C" team if anyone is interested they can contact Catherine Kagetsu ( catherinek@jlintl.on.ca).

    Our competive teams play on Friday nights at the Ice Garden from 8:30-10:30 pm, and on Saturday afternoons at Seneca Arena at 2:30 pm.

    NWHC also holds an anual tournament for Senior Rec and Competitive divisions. This year it will be held during the first weekend in February.
