Newtonbrook Panthers AAA -- Team Profile

The Newtonbrook Panthers came into being in 1996, previously known as the Scarborough Firefighters and the Toronto Red Wings.

The Panters' team is made up of dedicated and responsible hockey enthusiasts. Every player has instructed at hockey camps or as guest coaches. Both past and present players have joined the coaching ranks, while maintaining the "AAA" standard of play. The Panthers consist of two high school seniors, with the remainder being college and university students and graduates. Four players attended US colleges on scholarships.

All this has combined to provide us with a group of women, who are using their knowledge and experience to better the game for the next generation. They are helping develop those who will take their place in a league that boasts some of the best female hockey players in the world.
