This course begins on Wednesday 6 September!

Note that the presentation topics and dates will be assigned to all students in the first lecture, including some presentations to be given just seven days later. If for any reason you miss the first lecture, you must contact the instructor immediately to find out whether you have been assigned a presentation to give next week, and if so, start preparing it with alacrity.

Note also that the first assignment will become available on 6 September and will be due on Wednesday 13 September.
