We are affiliated with both the Department of Computer Science and the Faculty of Medicine through the Banting & Best Department of Medical Research at the Donnelly-CCBR. Our research, office, and lab space spans two buildings, Pratt and CCBR (see below).

UofT is located in Toronto’s Discovery District - the city’s centre of innovation - it contains Canada's largest concentration of scientific research, anchored by major teaching hospitals and more than two dozen affiliated research institutes.

																			 DL Pratt Building
The DL Pratt building houses several Computer Science research groups. Our group is located on the second floor AI wing, right next to Toronto's amazing machine vision and machine learning group. The computational biology groups (Lilien and Brudno) share space with newly renovated student workspaces as well as a private office for postdocs or visitors.

																			 Donnelly CCBR Building
The Centre for Cellular and Biomolecular Research (CCBR) is dedicated to bringing biological, physical, computer, and engineering scientists together in a communal setting. Most floors are dedicated to wetlab research, however the 6th floor is currently dry and houses approximately six computational biology and bioinformatics groups. Located on this floor are: Gary Bader, Michael Brudno, Brendan Frey, Zhaolei Zhang, Ryan Lilien, and Quaid Morris. Our group has access to both wetlab and drylab facilities.
