
The method developed by BKS Iyengar places an emphasis on precision and alignment in all postures. Equally accessible to everyone, this yoga practice uses props to give practitioner a better understanding of the poses.
The poses are introduced systematically according to the level of practice, at the beginning the focus is primarily on the physical aspects of the practice however the focus of yoga, being present in the moment with all one's being, remains an essential aspects of the teaching.
Certified as an Iyengar Yoga instructor, I have taught workshops and classes in both Canada and France.
