About Me

I am a PhD student in Chemistry at the University of Toronto (Canada). I am part of the Matter Lab and the Chemical Cognition Lab, my supervisors are Prof. Alan Aspuru-Guzik and Prof. Benjamin Sanchez-Lengeling.
Previously, I was a student at EPFL (Switzerland) where I obtained a MSc in Molecular and Biological Chemistry with a minor in Computational Sciences. In 2023, I was an intern at IBM Research Zürich in the AI for Scientific Discovery team.
Research Interests
- Property prediction of chemical mixtures
- Large scale virtual screening for drug discovery
- Generative models for molecular design
My commitment to Education
I am deeply commited to lowering educational, communication and financial barriers that hinder access to better science and career perspectives. I have been helping in the following intiatives:
- Tutoring and organizing the CrossTALK bootcamp on Machine Learning for drug discovery
- Organizing the Machine Learning Lunch talk serie at the Vector Institute
- Taking part in various mentorship programs, such as the ones organized by WICTO or the Acceleration Consortium
I have also been awarded the Teaching Assistant Excellence Award by the Chemistry Department for the 2024-2025 academic year.
