All translations are my own but they are in various states of preparation. I do not claim any of them are correct since any sensible translation takes a number of iterations depending on the difficulty of the original language. Typically though I start with a literal translation before modifying it to make it easier to read in English. That both Latin and Greek are inflected languages makes this task even more difficult since inflection allows the ancient author to manipulate word order to create additional layers of meaning that are not available to translators.
