About
I am an EWSC Postdoctoral Fellow at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard working at the intersection of machine learning and healthcare. My research focuses on building generalist AI models that can bring together different kinds of biomedical information to support better medical understanding and decision-making. A major theme of my work is making these systems practical in real clinical settings, so they are not only accurate, but also reliable, transparent, and respectful of patient privacy. I received my PhD in Computer Science from the University of Toronto, under supervision of Dr. Anna Goldenberg. During my PhD, I received the Apple Scholars in AI/ML Fellowship and the CIHR Health System Impact Fellowship.
