Academic Background I'm a Ph.D. student in the Theory of Computation Group of the Department of Computer Science, University of Toronto. My advisor is Professor Allan Borodin. Before coming to Toronto, I was in the Faculty of Mathematics, University of Waterloo from 2000 to 2004, where I received my Bachelor of Mathematics degree, double majoring in Computer Science and Combinatorics & Optimization. During 2005-2006, I was at Microsoft briefly as a software design engineer intern. Research My main interest is in algorithms design and analysis, i.e., how to solve problems (as efficiently and accurately as possible). I also have significant interests in structural graph theory and graph algorithms. About This Site I started editing this website in the summer of 2004, mainly for the purpose of my study and research, but I have not updated it as frequently as expected. Should you have any comment, feel free to email me. |
