Yaoyao Ding

Department of Computer Science, University of Toronto

I am a fourth year Ph.D. student at University of Toronto, supervised by Professor Gennady Pekhimenko. I also received my master degree here. Before coming to UofT, I received my bachelor degree in computer science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (at ACM Honors Class). You can find my CV here.

My research interests lie in the general area of systems for machine learning. Currently, I am focusing on the design of domain-specific programming languages for tensor programming on modern GPUs, as well as the implementation of the corresponding compilers. I am also interested in the low-precision computation for large language models.
