There's a game competition that's being organized by the Centre for Social Innovation, and is taking place over the month of February. An open house for the event is taking place this Saturday afternoon. Check out the flyer for more details.
The CEO of Big Viking Games is coming to Toronto on Friday, and is interested in meeting some university students, probably for recruiting purposes. Let me know if you're around Friday, February 2nd in the afternoon, and if you're interested in meeting him :)

* TOPIC: Mobile App Economy and Ontario's Potential to Become a Global Leader
* SPEAKER: Ray Sharma, Founder and CEO, XMG Studio. He oversees the management and vision of the company. XMG is a mobile device gaming company developing video games and interactive content for multiple platforms including Apple iOS and Google Android. XMG Studio currently sells mobile applications in the Apple iTunes, App Store and Android Market. Their other games include Cows vs. Aliens, Drag Racer: Pro Tuner, Style Studio, Marine Sharp Shooter and Inspector Gadget. In addition they have co-produced projects with major brands like Louisville Slugger and Degrassi. Prior to XMG, Ray co-founded Xtreme Labs, which is presently one of the World's largest app developers and where he remains Chairman of the Board.
